Asaf Degani is a Technical Fellow at General Motor’s Research and Development Center. His current research is on developing formal and analytical methodologies for the design of autonomous vehicles and advanced concepts for future transportation systems. Other research tracks are in adaptive automation, human-robot interrelations, and control theoretic approaches for safety analysis. Prior to joining GM he has been with NASA for 20 years where he conducted research in the area of cockpit automation,and formal methods for verification of human-automation interaction.
